Welcome to International Education Week

Longhorns Celebrate International Education Week 2022

  • Nov 14, 2022

Texas Global welcomes the UT Austin community to a weeklong celebration of cultural exchange and exploration during International Education Week (IEW), November 14-18.

A joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education, IEW underscores the importance of global experiences, providing students and faculty a wealth of opportunities to explore international programs, participate in cultural activities and learn more about the innumerable ways Longhorns can engage with the world today.

One way the UT Austin community can participate in IEW is on social media, by using #UTIEW2022 and #IEW2022, and voting in the 2022 Education Abroad Photo contest on the Texas Global Facebook page.

During the week, colleges, schools and organizations across campus will host dozens of virtual and in-person events, from study abroad program info sessions and alumni networking events to career panels, performances and art exhibitions. These events are open to all Longhorns, and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
