Front Desk

The ISSS Front Desk is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Front Desk staff can assist with general questions and document pick-up.

Student Advising

Appointments are required for student advising. We will no longer be accepting walk-ins to consult with an international student advisor.

Student advising includes student immigration, financial aid, sponsored students, and ESL students.

The student advisors are available at the following times:

• Monday and Thursday 9 – 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Please note: The following services do not require an appointment. You may come in between the hours of 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday and Thursday, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, without an appointment, to request the following:

• Travel Signature on your I-20 or DS-2019
• Employment Verification Letter for SSN Application
• Concurrent Enrollment Letter Requests
• Change of Major I-20
• Signing a Q-drop form (if you will still maintain full-time enrollment)
• Enrollment Verification Letter (for Exchange Students)

Exchange Student Advising

Appointments with the Exchange Advisor are reserved for students who are on a reciprocal exchange. Student interns and visiting scholars should make an appointment with a scholar advisor for their needs.

The Exchange Advisor is available at the following times:

• Monday and Thursday 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• Wednesday 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Faculty & Scholar Advising
