Questions to Ask to Choose a Major

You may have questions when choosing a major, here are some of answers.

Remember to complete the affidavit!

Texas Residency Affidavit

You must complete an affidavit of intent in order to qualify for Texas residency. This formal document declares that you meet the criteria to be eligible for in-state tuition and state financial aid. You must have this document notarized. Many banks provide free notary services to their members but even if you have to pay for notarization the fee should be nominal. UT Austin has their own version of this Residency Affidavit form available at the Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) to download and submit the university.
