Through unique programs give students tools to affect change, the Global Academy challenges participants to expand their perspectives, build their empathy, embrace innovation and find new ways to make the world a better place. Typical programs range in length from 1 - 12 weeks for and in size from 4 - 25 participants per cohort.

Academic and Cultural Immersion

We coordinate dynamic and holistic programs that provide targeted academic instruction, enhance English language abilities, improve cross-cultural understanding, offer networking opportunities, and foster development of leadership skills.

U.S. College Preparation

We help international students who aspire to receive undergraduate or graduate degrees from a university in the United States prepare for the application process, rigorous academic content, and English language proficiency requirement.

Intensive English Programs

We offer English language and cultural immersion programs for individuals and groups, blending intensive coursework with cultural excursions. Classes cover a variety of topics including English language, American Culture and academic skills. Dates are flexible and programs range in length from two weeks to a full semester.

Grant Funded Programs

We administer a number of programs funded by competitive grants supported by private and public corporations. Our exceptional curriculum and program content have earned us numerous high profile and high impact awards from organizations like USAID, the U.S. State Department, and Fulbright, among others.

Global Professional Training

We serve leaders on campus and beyond. The Global Professional Training is a regionally-focused symposium for current UT students to help prepare them for study, life and work in a foreign environment.

Creating Access to Global Education

The Creating Access to Global Education (CAGE) Symposium brings together educators, administrators, and advisors from around the world to examine factors within the university system which impact education access.
