Melva Harbin is the Hutchison International Scholars Coordinator. She is available for individual study abroad advising and mentoring for Hutchisons. You must meet with her to coordinate the disbursement of your scholarship.  Make an appointment each semester to plan your study abroad experience – you could even graduate sooner by studying abroad! Additional GUARANTEED Funding for Hutchison International Scholars

Internships in Asia -
$2,000

Hutchison International Scholars who choose to study abroad on an internship program in Asia during fall 2015, spring 2016 or summer 2016 will receive an automatic $2,000 from the Freeman Foundation. Click the link above for the list of internship programs in Asia.

CIEE Matching Scholarship -
$1,000 to $1,500

Hutchison International Scholars who study abroad on a UT-approved semester or year-long program with CIEE, will receive a matching scholarship ranging from $1000 to $1500 to apply towards the cost of their UT-approved program.

SIT Pell Grant Matching Scholarship – amount matches Federal Pell grant

All UT-Austin students who receive a Federal Pell grant as part of their Federal financial aid package are eligible to receive a scholarship from SIT that matches the amount of their Pell Grant.  This matching scholarship from SIT may be applied to UT-approved summer and semester-long SIT programs.

CET Matching Scholarship -
$1,000

Hutchison International Scholars who study abroad on a UT-approved summer or semester program with CET will receive an additional $1000 scholarship to apply towards the cost of their UT-approved program.

AIFS Matching Scholarship -
$1,000

Hutchison International Scholars who study abroad on a UT-approved semester program with AIFS will receive an additional $1000 scholarship to apply towards the cost of their UT-approved program. 

IES Matching Scholarship -
$1,000

Hutchison International Scholars who study abroad on a UT-approved semester program with IES Abroad will receive an additional $1000 scholarship to apply towards the cost of their UT-approved program.

Arcadia Matching Scholarship -
$1,000

Hutchison International Scholars who study abroad on a UT-approved semester program with Arcadia will receive an additional $1000 scholarship to apply towards the cost of their UT-approved program.
