Study abroad creates access for students to engage in international activities. We have developed some key initiatives to help us reach this goal. Hutchison and First Abroad Scholars We provide scholarships specifically for first generation undergraduate college students thanks to the generous support of an endowment. Curriculum Integration We know you want to graduate on time and earn credit that applies directly to your degree requirements, so we work directly with departments to map out a plan for your success. President's Award for Global Learning The President's Award for Global Learning engages students and faculty to examine real-world challenges and enact solutions in an international context. Latin America Initiative We are committed to increasing student exchange between UT Austin and Latin America and have curated 63 programs across 12 countries in 3 languages for UT students in any major and on any budget. Undocumented/DACA Advance Parole applications are no longer being accepted due to the partial rescission of DACA on 9/5/2017. Therefore, study abroad will no longer be an option for undocumented students who have been approved for DACA.
