Zach joined the ISSS office as a Program Coordinator in March 2015. He attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and History. While an undergraduate student, he spent one year abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. Upon graduation, he returned to Japan to participate in the JET Program and taught English at two senior high schools in Kanazawa City for three years. After returning to the US in 2010, he briefly assisted the Japan-America of Society of Indiana and then spent four years working at the Study Abroad Foundation, an inbound study abroad provider for college students in Asia based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Zach may be a native Hoosier, but he is quite delighted to call Texas his new home. He enjoys anything food related, reading, movies and adventuring!
