Brittany joined International Student & Scholar Services as a Program Coordinator in June 2016. She grew up in the Chicago area and attended Western Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration and Spanish. She fell in love with international experiences when she sailed on a summer voyage with Semester at Sea traveling throughout the Mediterranean and North Africa. In addition, Brittany spent a semester in Spain immersing herself in the Spanish culture and language. Following her undergraduate studies, Brittany earned a Master’s degree in Recreation Administration from Aurora University. Previously, she worked at the Semester at Sea home office in Charlottesville, Virginia for three years in a variety of roles and served as an International Student Advisor at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Brittany likes to stay active by riding her bike, practicing yoga, and participating in Camp Gladiator around the city!
