Tristan Bennett joined International Student & Scholar Services in February, 2017. Having studied abroad three times, he graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in International Studies and Anthropology. He studied abroad as a Gilman Scholar in Istanbul, Turkey in 2012, and again as an ARIT Fellow in 2013. He has also traveled through much of Europe and East Asia. After graduating from college, he worked at a number of think tanks and non-profits, including the Institute of International Education (IIE), and is excited to further contribute to the international exchange of ideas and knowledge. He has played the guitar for over a decade, is an avid bicyclist, and aspiring coder. He also loves foreign languages, and speaks Turkish, Korean, Pashto, and French, with a goal of being able to have a basic conversation in as many languages as humanly possible.
