Join us to learn about business-related Peace Corps opportunities, and get an inside perspective from a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer on how Peace Corps service helped him find his calling as an entrepreneur. Our RPCV guest will join us virtually online from Chile, South America, to discuss he used his Peace Corps experience to become a co-founder of the unique travel business, Keteka.com. Join us for this presentation, hosted by the UT Service Scholars, as we discuss service opportunities within the Peace Corps, including an EXCLUSIVE peek into the upcoming NEW UT Peace Corps Club! The University of Texas Service Scholars program (UTSS) is a collaboration between the Longhorn Center for Community Engagement and the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Service Scholars provides students with the opportunity to develop and use their leadership skills to serve the community, and Scholars complete community service hours each semester while engaging in service learning.

Mon 11/30/15: A Day in the Peace Corps Life of a Health-Sector Volunteer • 6:00 PM • Location TBD (check back on our website as we get closer). Join us for this presentation, hosted by the UT Global Public Health Brigades & Global Water Brigades, as we welcome a currently-serving health-sector Peace Corps Volunteer home on vacation leave all the way from Zambia! Learn about what projects and daily life are like for a health volunteer.
Wed 12/2/15: APPLICATION & RÉSUMÉ WORKSHOP • 4:00 PM • UT International Office, 2400 Nueces. Come work on, start or finish your Peace Corps applications just in time for the next JANUARY 1st application deadline! Get assistance for your résumé and essay. BRING a completed printed résumé if you'd like us to review it. (Geared towards seniors or those that have already graduated, and are applying for either the January 1st or April 1st deadline.)
