Routes to Permanent Residence Via Employment at UT Austin

UT Austin will seek U.S. lawful permanent resident status for professors (all ranks) and "permanent" researchers.
The process for obtaining employment-based permanent residence at UT Austin is a collaborative one. In careful consultation with the academic department and the faculty/researcher, ISSS will coordinate the immigrant petition submitted by UT Austin. Outside attorneys may not represent UT Austin for the labor certification process or the immigrant petition.
