Short-Term Faculty-Led Programs

Summer faculty-led programs are UT study abroad programs and are usually led by one or more UT faculty members. There are many programs at UT to choose from. Some programs are administered by the Study Abroad Office and others are administered by a college or department.

Advising and Application

Walk-in advising hours for Study Abroad Office programs:
Tues. and Fri.  2-4 through February 15, 2012
Call the Study Abroad Office (SAO) to confirm. 512-471-6490. You may also meet with a Peer Advisor.

The application deadline for Study Abroad Office summer faculty-led programs is December 1, 2011. Select programs have an extended application deadline of February 15, 2012.

Scholarships

The Department of Spanish & Portuguese is offering generous scholarship awards for the Portuguese Language and Culture Program in Salvador, Brazil and the Spanish LIterature at Casa Herrera Program in Antigua, Guatemala. Submit the application to the department.

The College of Liberal Arts is offering generous scholarships for the Botswana program and the Geography program in Cordoba, Argentina. Apply on Global Assist by March 1.
