Short-term UT Faculty-led Programs

Maymester Abroad courses are short-term study abroad programs that last four weeks in duration. They start immediately following the Spring semester in late May. UT students travel and study with a UT faculty member and with a group of UT students. Students take an intensive three- or four-credit course while living and learning in another culture.

Application and Advising

The application deadline for Maymester Abroad programs is November 1, 2011.

Walk-in advising hours Tues. and Fri.  2-3:45 through Nov, 30, 2011. Call the Study Abroad Office (SAO) to confirm. (512) 471-6490. You may also meet with a peer advisor.

New Scholarship

SAO Maymester Scholarship is available to support students participating in UT Maymester programs administered by the Study Abroad Office who have financial need. Application deadline: December 9, 2011. Award amounts: $2000 each. Go to Global Assist to apply.
